The fourth episode in Telltale’s latest The Walking Dead series has a brand new trailer and release date: April 25th, 2017.

The Walking Dead is a story-driven adventure game for iOS and Android (as well as PC, Xbox and PlayStation) loosely based on the comic The Walking Dead series by Robert Kirkman. Like other Telltale games, the story is not linked directly to the comic book or AMC’s TV show The Walking Dead, but instead, has its own plot and characters.

The current season, season three, follows Clementine and Javier. Javier is a new character to the series so the player learns about him through flashbacks in episodes 1-4. Together, Clementine and Javier will have to fight through hordes of zombies (through quick-time events) to survive.

Episode four, titled ‘Thicker Than Water,’ will be released nearly a month after it’s predecessor; ‘Above the Law.’ The fifth and final episode of the season is expected to be released in May, according to Telltale’s Job Stauffer.

You may be familiar with Telltale’s other titles such as Minecraft: Story Mode, The Wolf Among Us and Batman – The Telltale Series. The studio specializes in story-based games with fun quick-time events and often give players a choice in how they would like to see the story progress. These choices can have a significant impact on how the story unfolds.

What do you think of the series? Let us know down below.
